Applications:
WAPOTEC® ZilvoldHF Electrolysis Units are very complete
units in the standard version and require on a few preparations
on site for installation.
Chlorine gas is the purest and on of the best oxidative disinfectants
available. Today, chlorine gas is used in numerous applications
in water treatment but is increasingly restricted by authorities.
Due to that fact, operators sometimes tend to use other disinfectants
which may also have substantial drawbacks.
WAPOTEC® ZilvoldHF Electrolysis Units however produce in
a closed system and thereby completely avoid potential risks
associated with storage and application but provide the benefits.
The following applications are typically aimed for:
• Pool water disinfection
• Drinking water oxidation and disinfection
• Sewage water disinfection
• Production of chlorine dioxide using the chlorine gas/chlorite process
• Disinfection of water in cooling towers
Multi-cell units:
Units can be designed in a way that allows to produce chlorine
gas for several dosage points in one multi-cell unit with a
single PLC. This way e.g. several pools in a leisure complex
can be fed accordingly using manual or automatic control through
standard control and measurement units.
Further it is possible to control various dosage points for
different water supplies, such as pool water and drinking water
but completely separately controllable.
