As the chlorine gas generation can be proportionally adjusted to demand within seconds (from 0 to 100%), the well-known problems associated with the storage of chlorine products (e.g. chlorine gas in bottles), the aging of hypo chlorite solutions including generated hypo chlorite (e.g. 1-3% solutions) or the „off-gazing“ from storage tanks can be avoided. Therefore all associated risk do no longer persist, such as: • Storage of chlorine • Handling of chlorine • Handling of delivery containers • Transferring chlorine from the truck (bulk deliveries) and/or • Transportation of dangerous goods.
